Tekstvak: The objectives of IE have been translated in a study program for students aged 12-17. This study program (curriculum) has a scope of 4 academic years, 2 hours per week, 70 hours per year. The curriculum has been developed by “writers groups” consisting of teachers representing several countries/subjects within the IE network. Fundamental pillars of education referring to those that are mentioned in the Delors Report from the International Commission of Education for the XXI century are the basis of the curriculum. Those pillars refer to “knowledge”, “know to do..”, know to be..”, and “know to live together”. The curriculum is evaluated each year, and part of it is still “under construction”. The development of the curriculum “History, political science and social studies” will be completed in the school-year 2008/2009. more.. Projects & Activities in the Curriculum:
